1. General information
This subject allows the student to put into practice the knowledge acquired throughout the Degree by means of their insertion in a company or institution, introducing them to the exercise of professional activity.
The subject is aligned with the following SDGs:
* Goal 6: Objective 6.6
* Goal 11: Objectives 13.3, 11.4, 11.5, 11.6, 11.7, 11.a yb
* Goal 12: Objective 12.2
* Goal 13: Objective 13.3
* Goal 15: Objectives of 15.1 to 15.5 and 15.9

It is an indispensable requirement to have passed 50% of the credits of the degree.
Students may not maintain a contractual relationship with the company, institution or public or private entity in which the work experience will be carried out, unless authorised in accordance with the internal regulations of the University of Saragossa.
2. Learning results
In order to pass this subject, the students shall demonstrate they has acquired the following results:
- Integrate into a work team and perform the assigned tasks.
- Demonstrate competence in the search, critical analysis and synthesis of geographic information.
- Mastering the scientific terminology and handling of the techniques and tools of the discipline.
- Demonstrate initiative in the solution of problems that may arise in the development of the internship.
- Elaborate technical reports and complex documents that include the different methodological phases and results of the work.
- Present the results of the internship period.

4. Academic activities
External internships are regulated by Royal Decree 592/2014, of July 11 and by the Resolution of November 30, 2012 of the Rector of Unizar, on external academic internships, to which reference is made.
The tutor appointed by the entity must have professional experience. Submit a final report including the number of internship hoursand any other aspects considered appropriate
The student must: conduct an orientation interview with the academic tutor and internship tutor, work at the agreed center, carry out follow-up tutorials and submit an internship report.

Global assessment test
Attendance and work at the internship center (50% of the grade)
Elaboration of an internship report as indicated in this Guide (see learning activities), (50% of the grade).
Assessment criteria: attendance to the internship, compliance with the assigned schedule and tasks, insertion and adaptation to the work center, creativity in the preparation of the report and its presentation.
